Spencer Sandusky joined The Resnick Law Group, P.C. as an attorney in the Fall of 2025 following more than two years as a successful law clerk.

As a law clerk, Spencer assisted with drafting key documents including demand letters, pleadings, discovery demands, and legal briefs. His work played a pivotal role in achieving favorable settlements for many clients. As a new attorney, Spencer’s role at the firm has expanded to taking the lead on consults, negotiations, and discovery, as well as assisting with depositions, trial preparation, and other advanced legal matters.

Spencer’s legal training is from the prestigious George Washington University Law School, where he concentrated in business and employment law. At GW, he served as the Executive Managing Editor of the Nota Bene, the school’s official student newspaper. Founded in the 1950’s, the newspaper is read by thousands of students and alumni in 28 different countries. Spencer oversaw and personally reviewed each article published by the organization. He leveraged this platform to advocate for employees by drawing national attention to critical workplace issues.

His commitment to employee rights extends to his experience at the U.S. Capitol working for Congressman Josh Gottheimer. In this role, Spencer drafted memos advocating for the expansion of employee protections. He advised the Congressman on complex employment matters, including the legal framework for special government employees and the termination of federal workers.

Spencer also assists the firm in its marketing efforts. Prior to law school, Spencer studied business management at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. He graduated magna cum laude from an accelerated three-year program and has concentrations in finance, economics, and international studies. Spencer’s education and experience managing his own small business has been invaluable as he oversees the firm’s growth. Spencer was also a member of GW’s prestigious Business and Finance Law Review Journal.

Spencer is extremely passionate about employment law and is a strong advocate for employees throughout New Jersey.
