Spencer Sandusky will be joining The Resnick Law Group, P.C. as an attorney in the Fall of 2025, following more than two years as a successful law clerk. He has also assisted the Firm in its marketing efforts.
As a law clerk, Spencer has been integral to the firm’s litigation efforts and other matters. He has aided the Firm in drafting key documents including demand letters, pleadings, and legal briefs, while also managing discovery, research, and trial preparation. His work has played a pivotal role in achieving favorable settlements for clients.
Spencer’s legal training is from The George Washington University Law School, where he concentrated in business and employment law. At GW, he served as the Executive Managing Editor of the Nota Bene, the school’s official student newspaper. Founded in the 1950’s, the newspaper is read by thousands of students and alumni in 28 different countries. Spencer oversaw and personally reviewed each article published by the organization. He leveraged this platform to advocate for employees by drawing national attention to critical workplace issues.
His commitment to employee rights extends to his experience at the U.S. Capitol working for Congressman Josh Gottheimer. In this role, Spencer drafted memos advocating for the expansion of employee protections. He advised the Congressman on complex employment matters, including the legal framework for special government employees and the termination of federal workers.
Spencer has also assisted the firm in its marketing efforts. Prior to law school, Spencer studied business management at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. He graduated magna cum laude from an accelerated three-year program and had concentrations in finance, economics, and international studies. Spencer’s education and experience managing his own small business has been invaluable as he oversees the firm’s marketing and growth. Spencer is also a member of GW’s prestigious Business and Finance Law Review Journal.
Spencer is extremely passionate about employment law and is excited to advocate for employees throughout New Jersey and New York once he is admitted as an attorney in those jurisdictions.
