December 4, 2012 – Resnick Law Group Obtains Judgment in Excess of $600,000

The Resnick Law Group obtained a $617,922.04 judgment against Passaic County and Passaic County Sheriff’s Department. The judgment is the Court’s final Order in an age discrimination case brought by a former Passaic County sheriff’s investigator who was laid off in 2008. The judgment requires payment of back pay, pension loss, and attorneys’ fees. A prior jury verdict concluded that the County laid off the plaintiff because of his age, in violation of the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination.
